The Pyramids of Egypt surely are highly qualified to be a "wonder" of this world representing the heritage and prosperity of ancient Egypt to the modern world. There are a very few archaeological jewels in this world which stands till today -in fact, are very important because they act as key to the life of yore civilizations. Pyramids of Giza include 3 -Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure (usually, we call the pyramid built by Khufu as Giza pyramid). These ancient relics serve the eternity of mysteries by veiling incredible secrets in them. Here, we see the most baffling and perplexing facts linked to the incredible erection.

1. Ancient records reveal that the four sides of the pyramid were covered with highly buffed limestone which had so much luster that they can be seen as shining towers from several kilometers. Later, these limestone sheets were said to be stolen by the Arabs and this stopped the celebration to sandy dunes.

2. This pyramid comprises around 2.6 million stones which weigh around 3-15 tonnes each. What technology they must have used to construct this massive stature? (Giza pyramid's height is about 150 meters) With no cranes and heavy machinery, is it really possible to construct a giant pyramid?

3. If these massive blocks are constructed at a rate of 10 blocks per day, it would take around 712 years to complete it which is in contradiction to the records. And also, it is said that they are built with such a precision that we cannot replicate them with our present technology whatsoever.

4. The walls of the pyramid are little concave and no other pyramid is built in this way. But, the purpose for this concaveness could not be unraveled till now.

5. Most scrupulous scientific data of the pyramid is given by John Greaves, an astronomer in 1637. At the beginning of Grand Gallery at the pyramid, he found a passage under a block opening a 3 feet wide hole. He dropped him 60 feet down but, when he whiffed foul smell, he returned. That was named as "Well Shaft" but the purpose of its existence is unknown.

6. These great pyramids unveil many secrets of Astronomy. If the height of this is multiplied with 10 million, it counts to 98 million miles which is exactly the distance between the Earth and the Moon.

7. The building mortar used in its construction is very strong and we could not find any material with those chemical properties till today. The blocks used in its construction were flattened so precisely that they did not result much gaps even for the height of 150 meters unlike other stone structures.

8. During 10,450 B.C.-at that only year, these three pyramids exactly form an alignment for perfect reflection of light from Orion constellation. This cannot be coincidence as this is impeccable and some records show their knowledge of distant stars.

9. There were many Hieroglyphs found in the Giza pyramid which describes about their lifestyle, construction of the pyramid. The presence of many symbols such as pi and phy on the walls of the pyramid depicts their strong mathematical knowledge. However, there are still many Hieroglyphs not decrypted yet.

10. Incisive searching resulted the presence of small shafts through the hefty blocks. And with only copper and bronze tools (which were the only two metals used during that time), it is almost impossible to assemble these small shafts into the blocks. The gaps between these shafts were very narrow and it will not allow a person to creep in between. This raises a serious doubt if it was built by an advanced civilization than Egyptians.

11. The apex of the pyramid seems to be unfinished and there are no signs of that even. Diodurus Siculus, a Greek historian, gave his reference in 60 B.C. that the apex of the pyramid remains undecayed but still lacks the apex stone. The purpose for its unexecution still remains as a mystery.

12. It is aligned exactly to the North pole with 0.05 degrees of variation. This must be the continental drift over the years since it has been constructed.

13. No matter of the outside temperature, the internal temperature of the pyramids always remain constant with a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). This might be due to the special air shaft equipped in the King's Chamber.(Some historians believe that it is early form of Air-conditioning).

14. The weight of the pyramid is estimated to be 5,977,000 tons. Interestingly, when this number is multiplied by 108, it equals the weight of the Earth.

15. During dawns and sunsets of equinoxes, the pyramid evince a spectacular view of 8 sided pyramid which shows the skill in constructing the very precise centers.
